    Somatic Experiencing Deutschland e.V. is a registered association. It was founded in 2003 by the initiative of approximately 50 SE Practitioners (SEPs) and SE Trainees.The intention of the Association is: assurance of qualification and ongoing training of certified SEPs in Germany; support of patient-centered care of traumatised people by means of health education; facilitation of scientific research for the treatment of trauma; and support of the worldwide professional exchange of people involved in the renegotiation of trauma. The Association sees itself as a contact resource for people looking for help, as well as representing the political interests of the German SEPs. – more

    ISE was established in 2013, as a voluntary, not-for-profit organization and a company limited by guarantee, known as a Community Interest Company (CIC). CIC’s were established by the Companies (Audit, Investigations and Community Enterprise) Act 2004, and are regulated by The Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies in England. Ethos: The traumatic history of Ireland, throughout the generations, has a profound impact on how we live today. The resilient process of peace building requires energy, interest and curiosity in the present and hope for the future. ISE maintains that because the SE approach through its focus on the integration of terrible events, releases energy for engaging with life as it is being lived.     AISE, the Italian Association of SE Practitioners (SEPs) was established in 2011. It publishes the SEP List of all SEPs who are currently operating in Italy, who take part in regular follow-up training courses, and who offer additional and different professional skills alongside SE. AISE cooperates with the Italian SE Training Organizer, oversees the Italian SE ethical code and all legal issues. It regularly promotes follow-up training courses, intervision groups and keeps all its members updated with news. – more

    The Foundation for Somatic Experiencing in the Netherlands (SEN) has as its goal to promote the thoughts and ideas of Somatic Experiencing in the Netherlands and the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. Also the foundation\\\’s wants to spread the vision on the origin and healing of trauma. SEN informs potential clients about Somatic Experiencing, and at the same time reaches out to professional groups and educational institutions that are active within the field of health care and to other organizations that are dealing with trauma. The foundation organizes the training for Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2007 and provides continuous development training programs in Somatic Experiencing. SEN also provides support in several ways for the graduate SE Practitioners in the Netherlands and Dutch-speaking Belgium. All trainings SEN organizes at the moment are delivered in the English language and are therefore also open to an international group of students. – more

    A.E.S.E. (The Spanish Association for Somatic Experiencing) is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 by the members of the first training cohort for Somatic Experiencing professionals in Spain. The aims of the Spanish Association are to: facilitate and support the growth of the S.E. professional community in Spain, represent said professionals in Spanish Society, offer Continuous Training Programs and maintain a relationship of cooperation with the Training Organisers so that the current Trainees can join this community of professionals once they have finished their S.E.P. (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) training. A.E.S.E. offers a register of S.E.P. professionals, organizes continuous training workshops and publishes news and articles of interest related to Somatic Experiencing. At the same time the Association serves as a link between the members and E.A.S.E. (The European Association for Somatic Experiencing) and F.H.E. (The Foundation for Human Enrichment). – more

    The SE Association in Sweden was established in January 2013. Members are required to be certified SEPs or SE Trainees enrolled in an SE Training who have completed a minimum training level of Intermediate 2. The purpose of the Association is:

    • to promote knowledge and awareness of SE in Sweden;
    • to promote quality control of SEPs in Sweden through cooperation with the SE Training Organizers;

    • to offer a members forum for meeting, collaborating, informing and offer workshops

    SE Association Switzerland (SE Schweiz) was conceived at the end of the first SE Training in Switzerland in 2001/02.Through the mutual inspiration of Thomas Holstein and Urs Honauer (SE Organizer Switzerland), and a small group of dedicated new SE Practitioners, SE Schweiz has grown from a small interest group into an Association of around 150 members. Among other projects, SE Schweiz produces an SE Flyer in German, French, Italian and English, as well asOfficial Swiss SE design A and B Postage Stamps, the proceeds of which go to an SE Scholarship Fund for those who have received Asylum in Switzerland. – more
