Lilian Troost is a social pedagogue by profession and has worked for many years in the Netherlands and Austria with children, young people and adults with neurodiversity. She is a biodynamic craniosacral therapist and teacher, psychological counsellor and qualified supervisor.
She trained with Barbara Ann Brennan (USA) and then completed her Somatic Experiencing training in Austria in 2011. She deepened her knowledge in Neuroaffective Developmental Psychology (NADP) with Marianne Bentzen and Susan Hart, systemic training and somatic ego state therapy with Maggie Phillips.
Lilian is co-founder of an international project for trauma work for children in war, with a focus on Syria.
After completing Somatic Experiencing, Lilian assists in many trainings in the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria and Germany with various SE trainers. She has been a faculty member since 2025.
Lilian teaches in German, Dutch and English.
