SE Humanitarian Response Committee

The SE Humanitarian Committee has been established as a joint committee of European Association of Somatic Experiencing (EASE) and Somatic Experiencing International (SEI) to assist the Boards of Directors for EASE and SEI in creating support for members of the global SE community who are engaged in responding to humanitarian crises.

Vision:

To foster a global network of support for people who are using SE to prevent and respond to trauma resulting from both immediate and longer-term humanitarian crises arising from natural and human-made disasters.

Mission statement:

The SE Committee for Humanitarian Response serves as a platform to connect people within the global SE community who are engaged in humanitarian action, both prevention and response, and to foster the exchange of best practices, SE-based resources, and mutual support.
