Urs Rentsch

Urs Rentsch has specialized after his Studies for Medical Degree in psychiatry and psychotherapy and is working as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Olten, Switzerland. Since 1983 he participated in additional body-oriented trainings like Polarity Therapy and in Focusing with Gene Gendlin. He also has finished at the University Basel a training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and followed further trainings in different aspects of CBT, especially Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy with Jeffrey Young and ACT with Steven Hayes and others. He was trained in Somatic Experiencing by Peter Levine in Switzerland since 1999 and assisted trainings with him and other international SE Faculty in the years after finishing his training. Since 2013 he is Member of the International SE® Faculty of SEI and is teaching Somatic Experiencing in different countries internationally, mainly in Europe. He also is a member of the Board of the European Association of Somatic Experiencing (EASE) as a trainer representative.
